Import from AutoCad???

I had a Lantek Satronik Expert program to make a programs for cutting on my job. Drawing in this program is not so simple and fast, so does anybody know how to import a .dwg or .dxf file from AutoCad into Satronik. Version of program is from around 1991. year. AutoCad version is 2005, i hope that is compatible.

my 2c - feel free to ignore since I dont know your program at all....

Not many programs import .dwg files since the .dxf format was specially made for that purpose. Is exporting to .dxf and then importing that .dxf not a workable option?

What formats thes the program accept?

There may be tools available. I have done CAD1-->HPGL-->--DXF-->CAD2. Messy but sometimes that is all you have

You won't be able to import the .dwg from AutoCAD 2005 back to a 1991 software - even if the older program was also AutoCAD it would not cope. You will have to persevere with the .dxf format. Exporting from AutoCAD in .dxf is straightforward, but I am not familiar with your Satronik software so cannot comment on the import.

I can't import anytning in this program, but i found a little application whitch export a .dxf to Satronik. It was in my satronik folder.
