I've been looking for a collet chuck for the lathe. I've found a 5c collet chuck which comes with a pretty extensive set of collets, about 70 in total. These look to mostly be imperial sizes and with just a few metric sizes thrown in. I pretty much only work in metric . I understand 5c collets don't have much leeway in accepting anything but the size indicated, but what are the chances of overlap of metric and imperial?

5C collets generally have a clamping range of +/- 0.001" (i.e. not very much) and are available as standard in 1/64" increments but specials are available in 0.001" increments.
See attached. There are only three collets in the 0-1" range by 64ths that would accommodate nominal size metric stock within those limits.
Obtain a complete list of the 70 collets, perform the same calculation and advise yourself.
