Immersion timer

Anyone know of or recommend an immersion heater timer, that can control both the sink and bath sides of the heater ? Any I see online just seem to control one circuit.

What kind of tank is this? All the immersion heaters I've ever dealt with supplied both "sides" i.e. bath and sink supply came from the same connection. Some hot water cylinders had two immersion heaters, but they were basically heating the same "pot" of water, but the lower one heats a greater volume. note added - so I guess that's the difference between sink and bath, then. In the same flavour, why not have separate coils for boiler heated cylinders.

^^ You can get immersion heaters with two elements, a long one (bath) and a short one (sink). The long one heats more of the water than the short one.

Why not use two single ones?

It's a single heater with a long bath element and a short sink element. Its connected to a double switch, one side on-off, and the other sink-bath. I might do as mrfuzzy suggests, or possibly buy two cheap timers.

I set off this morning and only realized later that I had left the heater on. I had to get my sister to drop by and turn it off.

Hook the main element (bath) to the clock, the boost element (sink) to the boost timer

I would do the exact opposite!

Short (sink) element on the clock, long (bath) element on preset timed boost. So normally enough hot water for general purposes and just heat the full cylinder when you want a bath. Awkward if you like a bath when first getting out of bed I admit!

greedy man its on a thermostat and will turn off when up to temperature and cost nowt to run if your tanks lagged
