I'm lost sip p214

Hey all I just bought a sip p214 does any one have one?
Could someone point me in the direction for welding 4mm aluminium

What is peak current and basic current??

I'm new to Tig welding

peak and basic are for pulse, which i would assume you are not trying to use...the switch on bottom right next to AC/DC switch is currently set to pulse, flick it to the straight line then just set the amps with the peak current (i assume) dial

Turn it on tig/2t/AC/pulse off (-)
Going right to left on the top row.
3oclock,3oclock,off,9oclock.
On the bottom row
Off,off,off,11oclock,12oclock.
See how that serves ya.
The ones I said off to will not matter where you set them so long as you turn pulse off. (Bottom right black button wants to be switched to the (-).

No. The foot pedal only has one job and that's to behave like a car throttle. The further you press it the more current you'll get.
Pulse is a fluctuation of a high and low current to give you an average current. Leave it off for now and play in straightAC or DC. I could explain how and why it works but info overload an all that. Set it somewhere near I suggest and go play.
