As title. Some time back when I was posting about the hydraulic press I'm making, I mentioned I was considering buying a set of these [or similar] https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/clarke-7-piece-adaptor-kit-for-csa10bb-and-csa/

A kind Member offered to send me some round bar so that I could turn them on the lathe myself, but I demurred at the time. Now, for the life of me I can't find that post - I've tried the search facility with all sorts of 'key' words, but nothing doing.

Can anyone find it for me, or maybe the poster will spot this and come forward?

This age thing can be frustrating sometimes.

A post I had not seen, the clip in that undercut on the cylinder end is to hold the attachments that slide on and they are still languishing in the box, I could have added one to the parcel today.

Do you mean the clip? I was thinking of the attachments, your cylinder has the clip on. if you get a chance, measure the business end diameter and I will measure the attachments bore. Easily made if you have a lathe though.

Yes, I have the clip. A pic of the attachments along with the measurements would be good, although I can't think offhand what I'd use the attachments for. I've no plans for the ram other than this press, although times and needs change, as we all know....

I was thinking more along the lines of machining an attachment down rather than making something from scratchas it already fits the cylinder end. If the press has a fixed opening you often need to extend the cylinder length to push items in/out completely. My Epco has a variety of screw together tubes and sockets to do so, not so much of a problem on the variable height presses.

Just searched for your pics of your press. Have you drilled just one set of holes in the uprights for the crossbeam which means you have no adjustment other than the stroke of the ram.

Appreciate the offer , but it would need to be larger diameter in order for machining to the size(s) needed for press extensions.

No, two sets well spaced - trial & error once it's up and running, but because it'll be dismantlable it'll be easy to add others if needed.
