god its been years since I had a spray gun in my hands, so what I knew is probably very old hat by now.
im in the process of building an off road camper based on a dandy folding camper which will be mounted to a new chassis using sankey running gear
the materials that need to be painted all the same colour are, plywood , new steel and some older steel that has the usual rust on it.
i have a decent compressor (runs air tools ok) and a devibiss spray gun .
I do not have an air fed mask , so all paints will need to be ISO free as I would like to still be alive to enjoy the fruits of my labour later.
the trailer is going to live outside all the time and will be used off road so the paint needs to last.
the prep shouldn't be a problem.
what primer should I use ?
what top coat should I use, allowing I want it to colour match the tow vehicle which is windjammer blue (yuck, hate the colour) ?
will I need to lacquer it after ?.
will it cover the plywood ok without sinkage ?
any help or advice you can give would be of great help to me.
