ideal welder for my use?

Hello guys,

Im a beginner, just want to check. I need a welder for car work and car roll cages.

Ive been told a clarke 90 is great gor body. Will it hold up on roll cages? They are 40 or 50 mm bar 2mm thick. Generally.

The 90 is too small for roll cages. you would want at least a 130 or preferably a 150/160.

yes, you can "stick" any metal with a welder but fo get full structural penetration on even 2mm wall tube you'll need something like a Clarke 151en, tehre a fantastic little machine like all clarkes
