Anyone used them ? I’ve just picked up a few different bits and pieces to try out. Relatively new Harbor Freight own brand in the US (Harbor is a bit like Machine Mart) - but seem to be a direct copy of SO in most things. The spanners in particular are virtually identical which is promising as SO spanners are about the most comfortable things about. The ratchets seem to be a bit hit and miss in YT reviews but they are mostly based around which one snapped at the highest torque. I’ve never really understood what relevance that actually has but people seem to use it as a reference !

How were you getting them over here to the UK? Group and drop shipped? Where did you buy them direct or via a reseller like eBay?

I have some bought when I joined a ship in the US, there alright have a few ratchets sold the half inch flexi one a few weeks back as wasn’t really using it as I have a Facom extending one I use. The ratchet spanner’s are pretty good but they are supper long so I have found I have to be careful how much force I’m putting on them as I don’t want to break them, have a half inch breaker bar too love it most useful thing I bought.

Ah ok - hadn’t heard of that but it makes sense. It’s pretty good coming back here as you can bring 5-600$ worth of stuff without needing to pay anything. I’ve brought back a bit of sears stuff over the years but that is really going down hill now - wouldn’t be surprised if they’re out of business in the next year. This Icon looks ok - of course I’m buying stuff I’ve already got but you can never have too many tools
