I was thinking, wouldn't it be good if we had a section on the forum where people could post links to reading material relating to welding and fabrication?
I recently made a comment about stainless back purging that turned out to be wrong, and Hotrodder linked me to this bit of info that I found most interesting:
https://boc.com.au/boc_sp/downloads/gas_brochures/BOC_216601_Purging_While_Welding_Brochure_v7.pdf
Maybe if it was just a thread (made sticky) rather than a section, where people could just post stuff they found to be useful and informative. Rather than someone asking a specific question and then a link being posted for them. It could be like a migwelding-forum resource section?
I found this to be useful when I wanted to start making bicycle frames from 4130:
http://www.netwelding.com/Welding 4130.htm
Good/not so good idea?
