I Want to buy a Clarke 151TE new or used

Hi guys, i'm looking for a clarke 151te or similar clarke welder, already asked for weldequip for the price of a new welder, but if anyone has a used in good condition that want to sell for a reasonable price please PM me.

Most people on ebay don't want to post to Lisbon-Portugal as they are heavy, or because they don't want to ship overseas

It's a bugger, because clarke seems the best choice (£ ) for the kind of work i want to do on my car bodywork, and i cant find a dealer in Portugal.

PS- I have paypal and 100% feedback on ebay, and bought many things from USA and UK in the past.

Thank you alex, machine mart seems to be a bit more expensive tan the ones i saw on ebay, but still if i can't find anywere else i guess i'll give it a shot.

There are some really bad people on ebay, i sent a message to a guy that had a cebora 181 mig for sale, asking if he would ship over Portugal, here's the reply from him:

"You have a feedback of 17 you tosser get lost"

I know that people give a great importance to feedback, and they should, but if this guy checked my feedback properly he woul see that most of my buys are big value items, like the last one that was a mini pick-up project i paid 300£ and went all over to UK to trailer it back to Portugal, or a mini 1275 engine that i paid 280£ and other 150£ to ship it back to me. I guess this might say something about me to someone when checking my profile... ohh and that guy had 128 feedback with 97%, and he called me a tosser...

I'm about to give up on getting a mig over ebay, and try machine mart, or look or something used over here in Portugal, but is really bugger to see good machines with good prices over ebay UK and not be able to get one.

Does portugal or Spain have its own Ebay?

Its looking more likely that you might have to come over here

Portugal does not have ebay because we have a similar site called "miau" so i guess Ebay don't want to open a site on Portugal because of it. Spain does have one, but i didn't find any particulary good welder on it.

I did find one that seems to be a good welder over deutch/german ebay, look at it and please tell me what you think, it seems to be fabricated in germany so i think it should be good.

with shipping to Portugal should be around 350 or 400£

The shop from this lat welder i spoted on ebay.de say he will post to Portugal, i sent him my address and i'm wating for a reply with shipping costs.

Good news, there's a guy over ebay.co.uk selling a clarke 151ne, and he reply to me saying he would send it overseas, also he's selling it for 145£ brand new in the box. I sealed the deal and going to receive it a week or two

can't wait to test it

Ricardo, that's excellent! You must have been starting to think there was a conspiracy afoot to prevent you from ever getting a welder.
I trust you'll be able to find somewhere to get tips, shrouds, wire etc? As you might start to think the lack of welders could mean a short supply of consumables!

I think small consumables will not be a problem as many people ship them worldwide, but the welder as it was a bit heavy...

You can get tips at Home Depot. The Lincoln tips are the same.

Homer D carries decent wire.

I have gotten more from weldingdepot.com. Picked up different types of wire, spare tips and a new nylon liner. They sell Clarke and have parts and supplies.
