Two types available, One of them has a dark blue plastic insert and the metal is around 3mm longer where it joins the main cartridge body,

Mission complete, Cartridge cases been posted today. They should last a while. There are still a few left Some monies worth there, I think they are around £5-00 for a 25 cartridge box.

Was round at sister's today and had a look at a twenty bore, no use I'm afraid as it's almost twice the diameter of the valve stem. 22 is also too small as well. Sorry mate!

do you have a small gauge casing for the valve cap?

a .410 shotgun cartridge case would be about the right size to push over a valve cap. Not popular a popular gauge though -and the ammo is expensive by comparison with 12 and 20 bore.

.22 hornet might fit a valve if you cut the neck off, but I could be wrong, been a while since I used one
