It was going cheap, so I picked it up.
It's set up for gasless, so I'm going to get a hobby weld bottle, regulator, normal wire etc.
I'll get a new nozzle and tip, the ones on it a in poor shape.
It did not come with a manual....
If anyone could scan/photograph the page with the power/wire setting chart I'd appreciate it.
Does it go min 1, min 2, max 1, max 2 ?
Also, for welding 1.5mm box section should I go with .6 or .8 mm wire (thinking .6)
And the swan neck seems tilted to one side, kind of like it's for a right hander. Being a leftie, that's kind of awkward. It looks like putting in a spaces (washer) where the swan neck joins would change the angle it points, or is there an easier fix.
And finally, the torch has seen better days, I'm guessing that a new one (swp brand) will sting a little in terms of price. Can you get them on line anywhere?
