Omniata Member Messages 3,191 Location UK Nov 8, 2007 #2 Also called "atomic hydrogen welding"... Seems the temperature in the arc is hotter than oxy-acetylene, way hotter... There are two tungsten electrodes and hydrogen is passed over them as both a shield and fuel. It gets that hot you can weld tungsten with it... Try googling it, not used that much these days, like arc welding aluminium, due to lack of need... Jim.
