so torally stripped down . i got it foc. its a jcb hydrapak 2. it will be old and seen its work.

like they new ones tbey have a hydraulic flow on/off. mine doesnt

can i just fit a shut off valve retro fit or new supply block

I would suspect it a constance full flow system and the on/off for the tool, would be a diverter valve on the tool itself....if you need to get a hydraulic circuit diagram for that power units serial number...and the tools used with it..

so mine is the one on the left. identical set up but no lever at the top for the hydraulics

Friend of mine has an older model one that is used to drive a log splitter which was previously running off a tractor hydraulics. It was used to drive a jigger pick before the splitter. His has quick connects fitted.

You need to make sure you don't create a dead circuit or you will split the hydraulic pump down the middle. The Hydac block has a relief valve already installed which will protect anything you install after it, it really depends on what you are trying to achieve with this as to whats best to fit.

That looks like a pressure relief valve that will send the oil back to the tank if the tool isn’t needing it….bang on 2 quick release couplings and you should be good to go.

thanks everone cool . i found it funny that every other one had that lever. i am planning to put it on a log spliter. i have two long pipes for it.

will test on an already made splitter. then am hoping to make one.

We never use the lever unless a tool is particularly hard to disconnect due to pressure in the couplings. Not very common as we mostly use them with breaker guns and always turn off before uncoupling

so they will run happily with nothing attached . will just to a free flow back to the tank.

so finally she is a runner. after a new engine and endless modifications.

Did you buy it with the hoses? went to get a set for mine and fell over with the price of them these days, so it just sits hose less until i find a bargin.

i got the whole thing foc as a non runner. put engjne on it. the engine was totally dont.

it came woth pipes. i bought a small bit and it was 30 quid so dont even want to guess how muchthey would be
