i was thinking about that option yesterday i have no problem geting the right tube and i already have a tube bender . i just wouldnt know what to solder/braze them with to get a strong joint . id also have to find some sort of joint between the steel to flexi pipe
maybe i could tig them together ?

just been looking through there book . think if i can do as tigler says then if i can weld the joints together il be able to do exactly what im imagineing with the parts ive seen in the pirtek book

To attach the hose to steel tube you could get it crimped on with light duty steel crimping ferrules , I could actually do that for you but I'm down in Worcester !! I have a hand crimper and the ferrules. The tube could be prepared with a grooved wheel in a tubing cutter to make the hose grip better.
Brazing tube into the banjo's would need brazing rod and a propane torch , not sure if a DIY type torch would do it though. Brazing is like high temperature soldering and I'm sure someone on here will know exactly what you need and how to do it.
