" Huston we have a problem "
The hex driving sleeve on the 6.5 mm quick change twist drill has simply slid off leaving the drill some 50 mm in a block of Delrin ( *@^%$£! )
It's not the first failure I had with these Chinese cheap drills which is a pity as they are usefull and you rarely ever have the drill coming loose in the god awful hand chucks. Does any one know if you can get proper forged hex drills instead of the sleeve being pressed on the drill and crushed in to the locating the slot in the drill shank .
I've got some brand name " Faithful " masonry hex drive drills and they are fully forged with tungsten tips fused in ends of each drill .
If you know where these fully forged drills can be had 1 t0 8 mm in half mm increments can you PM me or add the info to the thread
Thanks
Dave
