Yes, I had a 5Kg reel of .8 and one of .6 of that stuff - there is still some of the 0.6 left as I don't use it but I see it is the same code number. As far as I could tell it was OK. I'm using the Ultramag stuff from Weldequip now (and will continue to do so) but I couldn't honestly say I noticed a huge difference?

What are you intending to use it on?

Planning to use it on car body panel repairs. Seam welding primarily. I already have some 0.8mm for structural chassis work.

You might find the roll you get is fine or totally rubbish. Tbh it doesn't seam that cheep to me defiantly not cheep enought for me to give it a try

If its only on car bodies it will probably be OK but as madkayaker says its not cheap. Phone a local welding distributor you should get one for quite a bit less than that.
