I've been lurking for a while, looking for info before buying. I was really surprised to find that in the basic hobby stuff Clarke is rated so highly yet SIP and Sealey weren't. Anyhow I've took the plunge and bought a Clarke 130E off Ebay. I hope it's magic because I've not welded anything for years. I took a short Saturday college MIG/MAG course years ago at Chesterfield, I really enjoyed it and even had a go on TIG which I thought was lovely. Since then the only welder I've used was a Clarke 90 (I think) gas/gasless. I don't anticipate having to weld to keep my cars running but you never know. I'm more likely to be roped into repairing my brothers.
