hi can any one help i have got an oxford rt 140 its been in my garage for about ten years and just decided to check it out i know its 240v and 415v there are five terminals does any one know how to wire it up on 240 and 415 and what amp circit breaker is required many thanks dnnis

The terminals used to be numbered by voltage starting at 0.If you want to wire it for 230v use the 0 for the neutral and 230 for the live,if 415v use 0 for one phase and 415 for the second phase.Remember the earth connection.
Some of them had straps but don`t think it was the Oxford.
As for the circuit breaker,welders can be a bit of a problem with inrush current tripping the breaker.I had a big Quasi-arc welder on 415v connected to a 32amp breaker and it would occasionally trip the breaker at switch on,never when welding.If I have a spare I would always put a welder on 63amp fuses or breakers but then sometimes that isn`t available especially in a home workshop.
Once took a little 180 amp Sip air cooled stick welder to install a safe in a bookies in Edinburgh.Shops been rewired,so weldings not a problem they said.Wasn`t only a problem for that shop, put most of the street out. Very embarrassing.
