How to stop boiler freezing.

The builders have opened up the old utility room to the elements, the boiler is in there and I don't want it freezing up! It seems obvious but I just want to check that if I keep it cycling 24/7 will that be ok?
It's a 40 year old Potterton oil boiler if that makes any difference.

I'd just leave it on low, tiny bit of heat circulating and it won't freeze

how long is it staying like that ?

maybe worth getting some loft insulation and putting it around it

i didnt say it had one on it i said wire one up

It's only 5-10% I wouldn't worry if I'm honest

It not the fact its asbestos it's the fact if they break it I have no heating or hot water and getting it replaced will be big £££ when it's being replaced soon anyway.

Does this boiler also feed hot water to the taps/basins? That water wouldn't contain the antifreeze obviously so that section of pipe work could still freeze I'm guessing??

It's got 4 outlets and they're all always hot.

I have recently put the bright fluro pink antifreeze for alloy engines into my mates heating as he is away a lot in winter and has cast iron looking radiators that are actually aluminium cost about £35 for 25 litres and 3 tubs went in, cheaper than a burst pipe and should help protect the rads
