I've gone for generic bushes for my wishbones because the originals are only available in America. What I've bought is the nearest size that matches. The length needs shortening and the top hat needs thinning a couple of mm.
Shortening the bushes isn't critical because the end of the bush isn't a bearing surface. But thinning the top hat needs to be done carefully because the top of the tophat bears against the chassis.
Any ideas for how to trim them?
I've got access to a lathe, or sand the them?
