how to clear out K seal

I have just purchased another pick up the rad and expansion bottle is full of K seal looks like a dry beach that had a oil tanker crash on to it in the expansion bottle. The thing is still blowing bubbles in the rad when reved so the K seal didnt work! so the plan is to flush the system probably throw a dishwasher tablet or 2 in the rd and let it work for a hour or two. then flush the cooing system with the hose. Then strip it head off oil and coolant out flush some more. New head new water pump and see what we got i know this K seal can be a bugger to get rid of. does any one have any other tips or better ideas?

Liquid laundry detergent.
Give it a quick flush with a hose. Refill with water and some laundry detergent. Run up to temp for a 20-30 minutes, then flush and repeat.

Just do the repairs and leave the K Seal in there if you can't get it out. I put a bottle in my car about 4 years ago to stop the matrix leaking and it worked a treat. No leak and everything works fine after, heater etc spot on.

problem is the water ways between the cylinders and head and block are so narrow anyway I cant afford for them to be blocked

looks like more than 1 for sure but a cooling system of that capicity they state to use 2

Have you seen how small the ways are in an average radiator? It IS designed to not gum your entire system up unless you have other problems that are causing it to coagulate in the wrong places...

I have indeed the water ways between the head and block for the cylinder jacket are thin too I will take some pics when I get chance to take the head off

the old field truck is an l200 and its full of k seal because the radiator is knackerd seems to do well on it

Great for a field truck no good for me on the motorway though, you could probably run with a smaller rad or no rad around the fields

Ultrasonic cleaner and some decent detergent however . . .come up looking brand new. So if anyone needs a mk1 Renault 5 expansion bottle that looks brand new . . . I've kept it for 30 yrs in the hope somewhere, sometime . . .

no chance of that, the ranger was allwasy fine on the road even heavy towing, offroad work it used to boil very easy, its basicly flat out bearly moveing boggling atm
