How to blend shiny weld with natural steel

Hi, I'd be very grateful for help with this. I'm making a coffee table from steel box section. It will have a natural finish with a clear lacquer on top. The weld will be ground down to give a better finish but my question is what would you recommend using on top of the shiny weld to blend it in with the colour or the dull steel? Thanks for your responses.

We have used Liberon Haemetite in the past although this now seems to have been discontinued and the suggested alternative is Black Antiquing Fluid.

Thanks for your reply. I had heard of a similar product but it was only available in the US. I shall give this product a go.
