Used parcel2go many hundreds of times. Lost one parcel in 7 years, a set of Sierra headlamps, that the bloke in Arizona claimed he never received, yet his mailroom had signed for them[fishy as ****], the insurance ******* up the dosh.
I have been going to try Collect+ but the only bloke who really wanted to use it looked up his postcode and found he was almost 20 miles from a shop. It has a 10kg limit though and quite a small size limit .
So who does pallets for £15?[there was a post that I read as pallets sent for £15]
I have regularly used a company called smart courier on ebay who use Home Delivery Network. Excellent prices, good service and tracked. Book online pay by paypal.
this site is good, you post the job and carriers bid for it.
check their feedback, insurance etc. pay a deposit and away you go
I've had excellent results from them, got a mate who registered with them and when he goes any distance in his estate looks to see if there are any jobs to help with the diesel
Should add good for ebay pickups, just type in the item no. to get a quote
I can recommend this company http://www.pharosparcel.com/
They use UPS and the lady at pharos called jet was very helpful
UPS was a lot cheaper that DHL and a lot more professional
Mine was a parcel from Uk to Spain allways a nightmare with every other courier (5 days 1.2 metre 32 kgs parcel £23 :-)
Just to give a bit of balance I've used Parcel2Go/DHL option at least 25 times and never had a problem. Also found the Parcel2go live help to be great, when I've wanted to move a colelction date etc
On the flipe side I've had stuff delivered to me by HDNL and it's been a nightmare, turn up at all times of the night, leave stuff on doorstep without even ringing the bell, parcels pretty knocked about etc
Used Parcel2Go dozens and dozens of times, via DHL.
only ever had one problem in December when DHL could not find two addresses in London, the blokes home address, and his works addresses, correct address, postcode, phone and even E mail , the item was returned to me the sender some 3 weeks later, cost £8.37 to send, Parcel2go paid £40 compensation, cant be much fairer than that.
DHL provide a better tracking sevice than Home Delivery network, I used parcelforce to ship outside of UK again through Parcel2go. they offer signed for details, tracking and text messaging, all in all, havent faulted their service,as said, Live help brilliant, and even better if you get Catherine, but in the bad weather like the rest of the country they struggled let down because of the couriers, DHL, Home network etc. did think DHL concentrated on their own service before the subcontracted Parcel2go stuff.
Pays you money takes your pick. almost anything up to 25Kg DHL Economy from£6.99 + vat,do it all online and they take paypal as well ( + a bit commision)Their service is Brilliant, but it is only as good as the courier you pick and ultimatly their driver
