actors and video editing. Also there are two cameras. The one that follows the girl up the stairs and the one at the top of the stairs. Unless its TV, with a crew there would be one camera. this would have followed the girl up the stairs and not be at the top.

Just had a google about it, a few similar mind blowing examples have been done, mostly by video editing and the use of both twins and editing in a couple of them.

Notice they stopped the video as the younger girl started to round the corner, it's probable that her timing was slightly out, the boy was spot on though and they then stopped the vid again, not showing the next person down from the black guy in the hand link.

We do that at home all the time, I just use a step down transformer...

Makes sense now . I believe they use the same set of stairs in The Big Bang Theory when the characters are shown going up to their apartment(s).
