How old is this reg?

Just looking at a secondhand mig and cylinder with this attached....looks old to me. I'll obviously check for leaks before using it. Has it been modified...looking at the allen key part .....

Looks like a BOC cylinder, if it is, it's only value is the gas that's left in it as you won't be able to get it refilled.

As above the reg is scrap value, about £1.50

It's got May 05 written on the bottle so at nearly 20yrs at least....
I think I'd pass on that myself..

Yep, .....genuine... solid brass.... retro.....steampunk....they don't make them like this anymore......probably worth as much as a new one

As above, the cylinder is the property of BOC and can not legally be sold.

Remove the none ferrous parts and add to the whatever it's for fund, wheely bin for the rest.

Tis true, if the gauge is not telling you what you want to see just belt it, it'll put itself right with one or two blows.

Did I sell it to you 40 years ago? . Let's put it simply, it would not pass a BCGA CP47 inspection ... a big health and safety issue.

At least 40 yes I'd say! No not me, .....I didn't pursue the purchase of the welder it was offered with when I couldn't get the voltage low enough (butters 160) for thin metal. So the rig is probably still for sale out there somewhere..
