hope im ok to put this here.
dad died in oct he was a fabricator and left a lot of welding gear now the the firm he worked for bought his tig and large migs.
ive still got his small mig a butters amt 175 mig.
got 2 torches with it.
only prob is two small wheels on front need replacing.
need advice on what to put it for please.

Hi mate.
Sorry to hear about Dad , i lost mine a year ago this Saturday. Are you talking about selling the Mig. Why not keep it ,get it repaired , take up the mantle and start using it. Make something really cool , Dad would be proud.
Miss my dad everyday.

hi kirk iknow what you mean about missing him.
i still hear him picking me me when im not doing welding right.
i have kept the welders he bought me years ago when he taught me to weld.
also kept his mid sized mig and arc.
he always used to tell me i was c$$p at welding even though i passed in house courses at place i worked top of them all, found out after he died whilst at place he worked, he told everyone i was better than the lot of them.
also found ashtray i welded for him when learning as a ten yr old.

just had kiddy down rd asking if i can show him how to weld hes 15.
known him years as went to school with his dad.
says he wants to be able do a car up ready for when he old enough to drive.
got his eyes on an old mini.
i know he looks after stuff so thinking about teaching him on dads welder and if he sticks at it giving him welder.
what do you reckon?
