just ordered 2 bars of 25x25x3 box 7.5m and 500x1000mm 4mm sheet, £97 delivered that same order was about £70 last year ! was from FHWarden in Birmingham on Landor Street.

The guy said it was going up more at the end of this month too!

Think what it is like for us when we put a £20-30,000 order in,we reckon it has gone up £150 a ton in the last month or so.

I assume that they ignored the fact that the £/ton went down a fair bit recently and are simply increasing their prices with the excuse of £/ton rising

I'm also in Birmingham, I used Warden's once, and only once!
Talk about attitude, I bought a few items of offcuts they have staked around the walls. Got charged full retail and when I asked if they could do any better for cash seeing as it was just small offcuts of no real use to them, I was not so politely told " If you don't like the price f**k off " that was the boss's son ! Needless to say I didn't go back again.
I can't recomend Camp Steel enough, really friendly helpful chaps and nothing is to much effort. Popped in last week, needed some 20mm box. Only needed 2no 6m lengths, each length cut into 4 pieces to fit in my car, done there and then.
