How much is it worth?

I know a bloke that does warehouse clearing ie any job that requires getting shut of any sort of stuff that needs shifting before demolition or just storage space.

I was having a jangle with him on the phone last night over something he wanted to know about(ain't got a clue meself) anyway turns out this particular building he's clearing has housed an interesting find for x amount of years,can't give too much away because he might come unstuck?

There's a car been there for quite a number of years? he knows this because the car was covered with two large heavy tarpaulins and they were caked in thick dense dust with no apparent markings on the dust to show they have not been moved for some time,he lifted one end to reveal a White Jaguar,pushing the tarpaulin halfway over the Jag also revealed it was the wirewheel type rims,the interior was immaculate ie highly polished wood and leather seating.

I reckon about about 1955 to 1960?,five figure plate but he wouldn't give the reg for it,how much do you reckon this might be worth? its in good condition.

Have a look on Ebay for Jag XK120 & E-type, that'll give you some idea.

Haha,he ain't daft...he's drawn up a contract with the client asking whats to be removed from the site,to which they replied via faxing...everything out of the building,well it was a bit more complicated than that.

I had one of those many years ago. To be honest it was knackered when I got it. The doors were stuck shut so you had to get in through the windows, so one had to be left open.

It didnt last long when the exhaust went and I discovered it was more weld than original. It was going to cost more for the flexible bits than I paid for the car.

So I sold it..........for more than I paid

easy way to tell if its a mk1 or mk2 is to look at the rear doors the mk1 go straight down at the back and the mk2 look like a number 2.
