How long will rods last?

Im clearing the garage and have found 2 packs of bohler rods
6013 which is open and a few are missing
And a longer box of the same, but unopened, are they going to be usable or should I chuck them in the bin?

They should be fine, 6013 isn't fussy as far as I know. If they haven't been kept in the dry, chuck them in a tupperware with some dessicant for a while?

Id bung them in an electric oven to dry, then store in a warm dry place and use them….for every day pit work jot high spec stuff

Me too, absolutely nothing wrong with old rods, unless they've been left outdoors or something and the coating's come off
