How do you treat ali wheels salt damaged

Ok, so latest truck has salt damage on ally rims , you know the sort of thing white powdery "corrosion" , I want to treat and paint/spray But and thats the thing with tyres on, reasoning is tyres are good enough to use but not worth spending taking off and refitting , too much tread to throw and renew.
so what have you found that treats /neutralises the salt and is a good high build primer for ally . thanks in advance

When you say truck are you talking HGV or SUV, I recently got a set done on a car, they were so badly corroded they looked knackered, tyres removed, chemically stripped, powder coated and tyres refitted and balanced, £300

little pick up, and yes not spending £300 is the point ! basically what stops the salt corrosion is main thing

neutralise the salt damage is the word I was looking for ,then best primer etc.

thanks , raided the larder and 50/50 mix , scraped the loose off, brushed mix on, within minutes it had gone black, perfect , will leave for couple hours and rinse off, will do each wheel thorough when they are taken off . cheers
