So I Tried with a phone once and a clip on filter that was a fail, now I've just had another go but with a go pro and some fancy set of Nd filters…and a cheap Chinese true colour filter..
Camera was too far away, I think, but I think I was getting somewhere.
But I'm getting this bad grainy footage and can't figure out if it's camera settings or interference from the welder,or maybe the cameras just not up to it? I did move the camera off the table. But got the same grainy footage, so hopeful that it might just be a case of dialling in the go pro.
It's a bit of fun, so I'm not going down the purpose built welding camera route. Although i wouldn't mind a DSLR at some point.
Anyway anyone else used a GoPro for this, if not what are you useing? Thanks
