Another post from me about gas.
I know ive got a thread about finding gas near Croydon but thought his wouldnt get noticed/would confuse in that thread. I know there is a BOC stockist in Croydon.
While ive been researching gas I came across this on the BOC site.
http://www.boconline.co.uk/en/products-and-supply/industrial-gases/shielding-gases/argoshield/2-litre-argoshield-light-filled-cylinder/2-litre-argoshield-light.html
2 litre bottles. These arnt the Y bottles in the VolksZone offer but smaller.
I quote:
"The cylinder contains 494 litres of gas, offering about 50 minutes’ welding time.
It is offered at a low annual rent of £18.85 a year. It costs just £16.80 to fill it with gas. There are no collection or administration fees"
All plus vat
How would these stack up against the Y size from BOC and rent free bottles.
Or would a couple of disposable bottles be just as good.
I havnt got the experience to make the judgement as im just a newbie learner.
But its substantially cheaper than anything else ive found so far.
Thanks
Gordon
