How do I pour paint without drips

I've just been pouring primer to mix, but I get runs etc down the can. My question is "How do I pour paint without drips" is there something I can tape to the can or a way of holding the can ?

Cover the top of the can with masking tape, leaving a V shape in the middle - one pouring spout!

I no longer bother for the reason you mention, plus it makes a mess of the sealing lip. I use a measuring scoop now.

I bought some clip on lip/spout but they only fit US imperial size tins.

you could buy a scheme but they get a little expensive. its normally full tins that run the worst because of the slight angle you need to tip it. If on the odd occasion, I have to decant from a very full tin, the second you tip the tin, it will start to run down the side of the tin until you get to such an angle that it pours;- I put a measuring stick into the receptacle, touch the rim of the tin to the top of the measuring stick and pour it down the stick into the receptacle. Never get a drip

Rotate the paint tin at the end of the pour. The viscosity of the paint pulls it round with the tin
