yes..add air to the gas line,you can see as i just have a single nozzle pipe down from the trigger control...it uses half propane pressure and as i said 3 times the heat and pressure. ile try up-load a vid at the w/end to prove my idea. i had to drill out the nozzle as shown to introduce more air post-nozzle iff you get my meaning and as each hole was drilled the combustion got better.So, all you've actually done is add the air supply in and by the looks of it drilled the shroud at the nozzle end as well?

I wonder how much gas is being consumed - you say half the pressure but it'll be interesting to see what it does to the flow rate.
