Has anyone got any clever method to remove a "jubilee" style hose clamp.
It the sort you turn with a screwdriver/10mm socket to tighten/loosen.
The band is stainless. The bolt is mild steel, and has rusted. I can turn the bolt, but it doesn't loosen the band.
It's on the cars fuel tank, so no grinding!
Access is *very* limited. I'm having to stretch up through a hand sized gap to reach it - I doubt I could even get a Dremel in - and I certainly couldn't see to cut accurately.
I've tried levering the band to see if I can get it to "grip" but it's not working.
Last resort is to try mangling the bolt housing with a pair of diagonal cutters , unless anyone has a better idea?
