Honda 3KV generator to weld?

Hi,
New to the forum and looking to weld in a garage that has no electric, i have been offered a Honda EU30is generator at a reasonable price compared to new, it is rated at 3kva, is this enough to weld with? i was looking to use a mig and possibly a tig welder later on. I am not planning on welding really heavy gauge metal and will be mostly doing car panels and chassis etc.

I doubt it unless you are welding at very very low settings.

I agree that a 3Kva generator is a little on the small side, you should also note that not all welding sets are generator compatable, check before you buy.
