Has anyone experience with the Home base 3 year replacement warranty.
I had a Dremmel 2 years ago and its stopped working. Having paid for 3 years cover I rocked up and asked for a replacement. They called it a "Skipped" item and said they would give me vouchers to the value of the sale. This is an issue as the receipt is showing a lower price that I paid. But I thought Ok if they have gone up a few quid I dont mind paying the extra to get a replacement cordless dremmel. the ONLY cordless they stock is the 8200 at £99 and my receipt is showing £29 So all they will give me is £29 worth of vouchers.
It does not seem like this is a decent deal. I have already spotted a problem with their logic as they charged me 12.99 for product cover. Which is for items between £50 and £59.99. So despite them showing £30 on my Receipt for some reason ony known to the guy who served me. They charged replacement product cover based on the £59.98 which is what I think I paid.
So has anyone had any similar issues.
It does say IF a replacement is approved , we may replace your product with a new product of the same or similar make and specification. It does also go onto say IF we decide to pay you the cost of replacing your product , we will give you vouchers to the value of the price you paid for your product or the price before discount .
I want a replacement product NOT vouchers as I want a cordless dremmel and they only sell one now. lol
