i priced an sds chissel up£30,00 i happened on a hand held one at autojumble £2.00 and had an old sds chissel spare i cut the pair in half ,bored one side out and turned a spigot on the other tapered them off and welded up a quick go on the grinder and it works fine

mainly for cleaning up the edges of the brickwork when sinking metal boxes in and chases that arent quite deep enough the solid ones knock big chuncks out mainly speed and less damage
