Hi,
I've a Clarke 151TE welder and I am practising butt welding. My welds and penetration appear fine (to me!) until I get right near the end of the sheet and I find I'm blowing a hole. I'm using 2mm steel with an argon/co2 bottle.
Does anyone have any advice how to prevent this? I have a feeling that I may be slowing down when coming to the end but any advice would be appreciated.
Many thanks
Steve
