Funnily enough….If you have large mainly unsupported discs to face, VBMT’s fed back on themselves,( so not pointy end going towards the centre of the bar), usually don’t chatter when everything else being fed the conventional way do… I used to skim shear sharpening lapping discs for a medical company, before recutting the grooves that hold the diamond paste, 420mm dia , 14mm thick. Worked a charmFor me on the CNC it is DNMG 1506** roughing and VBMT 160404for finishing and I also have a weird unconventional preference for using the VBMT for facing on the CNC but then I have it set up for just a skim cut for facing so it is perfect
