Hi.i'm a new member. I have a reasonable amount of welding experience with stick or mig. My question is I have a Hobart 212 which sits in a corner of my garage most of the time between projects. The other day I took it out and it refuses to strike an arc. Wire feeder works gas flows. Plugged in my stick welder and it works fine. The garage is heated and dry.the welder has never been abused, probably a hundred hours on it. Anybody have any suggestions where to start looking?
