I am wanting to start learning how to mig weld for customizing cars. I was wondering if anyone knows if the hobart handler 140 is a good one for this? I have a guy who will sell me a new one for 375.Thanks
I think you'd be good to go with that. Min 25 amps should be fine for autobody work. It 'll only go up to 1/4" though, but you should be alright for most things.
You'll want to run .023-.025 wire and gas for autobody.
