I am looking at getting some of the hmg nisocoat 2 stuff as this seems to be the safest way to do a DIY project, however I have a couple of questions.
From what I have read its best practice to get the primer/base/clear all from the same manufacturer to reduce issues with painting.
The problems / questions I have are 2 part, i'm struggling to find what the appropriate base is to use here as nisocoat 2 comes in coloured as well as clear, I got a metallic silver paint that I will be blending into and laid onto metal/filler.
Second question is, I have the mazda car paint code and its only 2005 so its not a classic where the paint will of faded a lot, but I am a bit concerned about colour matching (even from factory they can be slightly different shades), where is the best place to buy HMG paints that will colour match a metallic paint (rawlins state they cant match metallic on their website), or can I take this to my local paint shop and get them to give me a colour code to use (I have a jawels nearby that supposedly colour match but they don't sell HMG)
