Hinging a Gate on a slope?

Does anybody have any ideas how to hinge a gate where the garden driveway slopes upwards?

Take the bottom hinge out on an arm perpendicular to the gate. That'll cause it to rise as you open it.

Alternatively, open the gate outwards - that's what I did
Before anyone shouts, I do have room for the gate to be fully open without protruding onto the road

If not, make it look like a level crossing gate and traffic would stop to let you out!

thanks guys managed to get it sorted, didnt make it hinge outwards though lol dnt think the neighbours would approve

well, the person i was making the gate for did not have a overly large opening where he wanted his gate but had a long wall so i managed to pesuade him to let me make it a roller gate lol
