Could you use a grubscrew rubbed with a dose of lathe?
Go into Ikea with a screwdriver and someone to create a diversion and liberate a few from the display models.

I've got a few handfuls of hinges to rob parts from - always handy to have 
I've seen hinges like yours but don't have any.
I was in IKEA last week and their customer service desk had a big tub of *stuf* they let me raid as I'd bought an ex-demo unit that was missing a slider foot.
I'd suggest you ask them nicely (but only if yours is an IKEA unit)

I was thinking to keep the hexagon in the grub screw and use it for adjustment instead of the OEM cross slot. The lathe work would be on the other end.
The amount of thread looks enough to screw into a female-threaded fixture in the chuck and then use a thin locknut to retain and to make removal after turning easy.
If the locknut cannot be made to work, you'd have to make the fixture with a through hole to suit the A/F of the hex key and then make a super long hex key that you poke up the spindle to loosen the finished part.

.new hinge is only 3 quid so
it's not really worth messing . It's for an old lady who lives 3 doors from me.
I went round to.move a fridge freezer for her and saw she had lots of stuff on the cupboards.
She said it was because the doors had to be propped up.
I managed to fix one side as it had its screw just needed re fitting.
I asked in case they were universal.
