I think that would be more likely to get damaged in transit if shipped via courier than to have anything actually wrong with it in the first place. (Speaking from experience having sensitive equipment shipped, no orig packing available and seller doesn’t understand what’s needed and how brutal couriers are.) If the original packing isn’t available there’s a lot of work in crating that and the manufacturer would have shipped it with transit fixings to stop the mechanism losing timing with jolts.
