Here is a project I have been working on, started in the spring and kept putting it off then decided to finish it in the freezing cold

I would have taking more pics of the bed but it was just too cold

This was to be for my son but now my nephew is going to get it, so I'll have to do it all over again and make 1 for my son :clapping:

The design was not of my doing and was copied from a bed that neighbour done :whistle:

Ive just shown it to my daughter who had been pestering me for one, in the end my mrs had bought her one, her comments on seeing yours was cool, I agree. but the next comment was the ladder is gona hurt your feet. because you need to climb it barefoot. out of the mouths of babes eh. but a verry nice job youve done, at least you got round to make it which someone else still hasent :ashamed:

Looks like a nice project. Much more sturdy than the ikea/argos types

Probably twice the weight :laughing:

A time saving tip for end caps, cut them fractionally larger than the inside of the box, then do outside corner welds. That way theres no prep, and less cleanup. It also gives a nice radiused top edge with virtually no effort

So if you were capping 50x50x3 box, cut a cap 45x45
