Hi mate Yeh it was my grandads 72 mk1 escort that I had after he sadly past away, it's been sat for around 30 years in a leaking garage so the tin worm has set in but I promised myself to restore it, ☺

I never had a mk1 but drove plenty of Mexicos and a RS2000 that my mates owned, back in the day when they were just a cheep fast Ford, closest I owned was a mk2 1600 sport, close ratio box and a pico exhaust that was a fun car to thrash around in.
