Hi, my name is Scott and I'm from Dunfermline. I'm just about to finish an NC in Fabrication and Welding which I've quite enjoyed, hoping to gain employment as a welder soon.
I've recently purchased a Sealey Supermig 150/5 and hope to get started on a couple of automotive welding projects including a Renault 18 diesel.
The supermig came with a regulator, me being a cheapskate, I got a free co2 bottle from the local recycling centre and had it filled for £20 only to discover the regulator doesn't fit the bottle.
I understand I'll need a co2 regulator, is it possible just to change the connector on my regulator rather than buying a complete new one?
Here's some photos of the bottle and regulator:
Here's a photo of the first car I'll be welding
No doubt I'll be back asking silly questions soon.
